ALL ABOUT SEÁN FOX
Where It All Began
Seán Fox has been writing songs since he was a child growing up in Arklow. At 25 years old, his music has matured into a unique blend of heartfelt storytelling and melodic craft. With a guitar always within reach, Seán channels his experiences and the stories of others into songs that are both deeply personal and widely relatable.
His latest single, “Penny for the Stranger,” was inspired by a story his grandfather told him about meeting a young busker over fifty years ago — a moment that lingered across generations and found new life in Seán’s songwriting. The track captures the warmth and empathy that have become hallmarks of his sound.
Seán’s new release is currently being sent out to radio stations around Ireland, with “Penny for the Stranger” receiving its premiere on RTÉ 2FM, marking a major milestone in his solo career.
He has built a strong presence on the Irish live music scene, performing at Electric Picnic, Forest Fest, and The Academy in Dublin with The Year Grunge Broke. Those performances have helped him connect with new audiences while refining his solo voice and presence as a songwriter.
Now embarking on his next chapter, including an upcoming English tour, Seán continues to create music that explores connection, compassion, and the simple beauty of everyday moments.
